They kill a close collaborator of the president of Bolivia in an armed attack

Aramayo was driving his vehicle when a motorcycle approached and its occupants opened fire inside the car. After the attack, the subjects on the motorcycle fled.

The presidential spokesperson, Carla Favalexpressed the Government’s position in a message on social networks in which he linked the murder to previous threats received by Aramayo during his performance in the Senasag. According to Faval, the victim would have refused to accept a bribe.

Relationship with Paz Pereira

Aramayo maintained a close political relationship with President Rodrigo Paz Pereira during the 2025 general elections in which he was departmental coordinator of the Christian Democratic Party (PDC) in both the first and second rounds.

He was later appointed departmental director of Senasaga position from which he resigned weeks later to qualify as a candidate in the regional elections to be held in March.
