“Well, I mean, listen, people have their favourites. [It’s] the cliché, ‘We love all our children, even the bad ones,’” Rob, 78 told Piers Morgan.

It follows the shocking arrest of the pair’s son Nick, who was charged on Monday and remains in custody.

Nick, 32, was arrested on murder charges and is being held at Parker Center Jail on $4 million bail.

A source told The U.S. Sun that Rob and Michele got into a heated public dispute with their son while at a Hanukkah party on Saturday evening.

The tense argument is believed to have continued overnight at the family’s home in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles, where the beloved couple were found dead at around 3:30 pm PST.

The source told The U.S. Sun that attendees at the event were “shocked” when they heard about the murders, “but once they heard Nick was implicated, no one was surprised.”

Rob and Michele had been married since 1989 and shared three children together – Nick is their youngest son.

Tragically, the couple were found dead by their daughter, Romy, in their sprawling $13.5million mansion in Brentwood, California.

Rob, 78, and Michele, 68, allegedly had their throats slit after a heated argument with their son.

Nick, who reportedly lives in the Los Angeles area, is rarely seen in public since he opened up about his struggles with drug addiction in 2016.

He admitted to first going to rehab at the age of 25 and said his addiction issues even led him to being homeless at one point in his life, according to People.

LAPD Deputy Police Chief Alan Hamilton told reporters at the scene there was no forced entry into the home.
